Make Your Mark Challenge - 16 November

The Make Your Mark Challenge is the largest one day enterprise competition for schools and colleges in the UK. In 2008 over 56,000 students took part. We’re still waiting for the numbers to come in this year, but we’re expecting over 70,000!

Women’s Enterprise Day was all about celebrating successful female entrepreneurs, and inspiring more women and girls to turn their passions into profit.

Social Enterprise Day - 19 November

A social enterprise is a business with aims which are primarily social or environmental and whose surpluses are ploughed back into the business or community. The focus on this day was to help inspire the next generation of social entrepreneurs and encourage them to start-up businesses that might help address some of society’s biggest problems.

Home Enterprise Day - 20 November

Home Enterprise Day was a shiny new focus day for the the Week this year! It’s about encouraging people to start-up businesses from the comfort of their own homes, and to shine the spotlight on people that already run successful home-run businesses.
