Students - post-Challenge survey

When registering for the Make Your Mark Challenge you will be asked if you are willing to distribute a survey to your students. We would be extremely grateful if you could do this. The survey takes the form of two short questionnaires; one to be distributed before the Challenge and one after.

Students that complete both the pre and post-Challenge questionnaire will automatically be entered into a prize draw to win a £50 Amazon voucher and as the teacher in charge of the Challenge at your school or college, you’ll win one too! There are 3 sets of vouchers to give away.

The survey - things you need to know!

• The evaluation survey will be in two parts; one survey before the Challenge and one after.
• The survey will be carried out on-line, so students will require computer access however a paper survey is also available for students without a personal email or computer access.
• If students are completing a paper survey they will need to include their full name, this will only be used to link the pre and post survey responses.
• The survey takes about 5 minutes to complete.
• You will be sent a link to the survey to share with your students.
• Students will need to give their personal email address when completing the survey (all email addresses will remain confidential).
• Details of the post-Challenge survey will be sent to you and also emailed to all students who completed the pre-Challenge survey.
• Students MUST use the same email address when completing the post-Challenge survey.
• All students who complete both surveys will be entered into a prize draw to win £100 and as the teacher in charge of the Challenge at your school or college, you’ll win one too. We will draw three winners.
• We will share a summary of the findings with all the schools who participated in the survey.

Key Dates

October - you will be asked to direct students to a link for the pre-Challenge survey. Deadline for completion: 13 November

December - you will be asked to direct students to a link for the post-Challenge survey. They will also receive an email to remind them to complete it. Deadline: End of Term.
