Eastbourne Youth Radio 2012

EYR is a 5-day community based radio project that will engage over 2500 students aged 5-19, from 25 schools/colleges, with local businesss and other organistions. Whilst the students are researching, producing, performing and presenting original material in one-hour programmes they will be experiencing and developing a range of entrepreneurial skills. The project will broadcast from studios at Sussex Downs College in Eastbourne on 87.7FM in the local area and be streamed globally on www.eyr.org.uk. The lead sponsor for 2012 is Sussex Police with represtatives from a further 40 plus organisations expected to take part.
