Young Enterprise hosts - Entrepreneurs insight into Manufacturing

Students who are taking part in Young Enterprise's Company Programme in Stafford and Stone have been given a great opportunity by AREVA T&D. AREVA are opening their factory doors to allow the students to see the last remaining large Power Transformer manufacturer in the UK. They will see how a transformer is put together and hopefully be impressed by the shear volume and quality of the materials used. They will also visit the workshops of the medium voltage switchgear unit and service unit both of which are key suppliers to the customers transmitting and distributing electricity.

AREVA T&D staff will give an overview of AREVA T&D worldwide and in the UK plus detail the type of job categories they offer as its far from just Engineers and factory technicians.
