Swap ‘Til You Drop (Swishing Party)

The Art of Swishing involves getting your friends together to swap gorgeous clothes and party at the same time. This is an ethical enterprise activity where every lady must bring at least one good quality, clean item of clothing, or an accessory, that she'd feel proud to hand on. Women will also have the opportunity to listen to a successful female entrepreneur as well as get style advice and makeovers. The aim of the event is to change attitudes to women’s enterprise and provide women with inspiring role models who can show them that business and enterprise might be for them after all. A brilliant way to reinvent your wardrobe with handbags and glad rags for the party season!

The night starts at 6pm at the Willow Suite, Cedar Court Hotel, Mayo Avenue, Rooley Lane, Bradford BD5 8HW. The price of attending will be £5.00 and includes: *a two-course buffet meal and drinks upon arrival, *entry to the event and fashion and beauty market, and *a pamper treatment. Bring your gorgeous clothes and accessories.

We’ll put them on display and you can go home with a chic new outfit.

  Here’s how it works: • A fantastic fusion of fashion and pampering. Simply bring along between 1 and 3 items from your wardrobe that someone else would love to own & choose the same number of items to take home. Clothing must be clean, ironed, and in good condition. Please bring it on a hanger if possible. • Hand over your items to the swaps desk (open from 6-7pm) in return for your swaps card on which we will give you one credit for each item you bring. You will then be able to get a drink and enjoy the empowering presentation from our guest entrepreneur whilst we sort out the clothes to make it easier for you to find something special when the swap begins. • During this time we will also have a fashion stylist on hand to offer up handy hints and tips on styling your wardrobe, therapists to pamper you, plus a fashion & beauty market. • Swapping will commence at 7.30pm. Changing areas will be made available for trying on clothes. • Items will be ticked off your swap card before you leave. You will be allowed to take the same amount of items you bring (so make sure you don’t misplace your swap card).
