Business reports to be submitted for consideration at a high profile finals event on 29/11 at Barclays HQ

Northern Ireland companies are being invited to enter the annual ‘Ulster Bank Business Achievers Awards’ which recognise business success, irrespective of offering, size, sector or location across the island of Ireland. The awards, now in their 18th year, are in association with Invest Northern Ireland, Enterprise Ireland and InterTradeIreland, and supported by the Belfast Telegraph.

West Hatch High School, 9.00-2.30. Presented by Enterprise Education. 80 Year 12 Business Students learnt and discussed the qualitites that make an Entrepreneur. They listened and questioned visitor and entrepreneur Rob Ellice from Collier Hillyer before embarking on planning a new venture in the the Hotel business abroad. All students participated fully in presenting their ideas to the rest of the group.

An Event for 11-21 year olds within Bridgend. Kick off is at 10am on Saturday 19th November at Blaengarw Workmen's Hall. You must give a 3 minute pitch to win cash up to £1500 and development support that aims to resolve social problems in your area. Independent judges, including local entrepreneurs and Dynamo Role Models will judge the qualifyers from Monday 14th November and will choose the overall winning team. This team will go on to represent Yale College at the Global Enterprise Challenge in Cardiff 12 - 14 March 2012

Stock Market Challenge is a rewarding and enjoyable activity that is a gateway to enterprise education and financial capability. It will also help your students develop their personal, learning, thinking and functional skills.

In recreating the excitement of a real trading floor, the activity provides a platform for your students to learn how to work together as a team, solve problems under pressure, analyse information and communicate effectively.

The Cardiff and Vale Consortium has linked up with Sports Leaders, The Co-op and Street Games to run this high-profile, dynamic challenge.

Students from Bridgend College, Cardiff and Vale College, Coleg Sir Gar, St. David's Catholic College and UWIC will be pitching for REAL money to make a REAL difference to the activity levels of their institutiion of the local community. Can they do it??

This high-profile event will feature the Last Millionaire star James Taylor and a visit from Edwina Hart AM

All day student challenge. A challenge scenario will be unveiled by local entrepreneur Arthur Davies. Participants will have a limited time to come up with a new business idea, based on the challenge criteria. Experts will be on hand to give advice. Students will pitch their ideas to a panel of University staff and local business people. The winning team will be awarded a trophy, prizes and certificates.

These awards are part of The Prince's Trust Celebrate Success Award series. The RBS Enterprise Award celebrates a young person who has overcome hardship to set up in business. A regional RBS representative has been involved in judging each award and is presenting the award at the event.
