The Premier League Enterprise Challenge is an annual event, with the final taking place during Global Entrepreneurship Week .

Event: Inspirational Sector Representation Presentation

Jonathan Campbell (Director) & Brian Downes (Sales Director) will be talking about the world of work to Year 10 students about careers in the sector that they work in. The guest speakers from the various sectors will be asked to deliver careers talks to groups of students which would cover the following points: · What inspired them to pursue their chosen career · The route which they followed · The qualifications they have · School/college subjects they enjoyed, which influenced their career choices

David Hawksworth , Area Technical Supervisor from Bardon Concrete will visit Thomas Russell School in Barton under Needwood where they will be taught in two classes in Year two all about our quarries. They will learn about how we get the aggregates from the ground, grade them and then transport them. They will also get to dress up in Hi Vis gear, get to do their own gradings using the sieves AI will take with them, learnt about how the crushers work through playing a little game. They will also take part in one of the 4*4's from the quarry to let them have a look at a Toyota Hilux.
