All our prgrammes that we are running during the week include our session on 'Make it in Great Britian' Supporting the Government campaign to inspire young people with their own manufacturing plans, ideas and their experiences. The BiE programme sessions will be part of our various programmesfor students and continue until July 2012

Students from Year 9 had a whole day challenge in which they designed products for sale, as souvenirs for sale outside one of the 2012 Olympic Venues in London. They had to cost out their products, indicate what outlay they were pitching for and what profits they might expect. They worked in teams of 8 students and 18 groups competed. The afternoon session was based on presentations to our guest business advisers, pitching for their funds.

Thursday 17th November - Arnot Hill House, Arnot Park, Arnold, Notts, NG5 6LU no limits education in association with Expand Business Services are excited to be contributing to GEW with the Young Entrepreneur Challenge. The challenge, focused on London 2012, involves 6 teams of Post 16 students from 5 schools. We also have a team of IT Diploma Students producing a flim of the day. Local businesses are supporting the event as business mentors for the teams and as judges. Bryan Steel, double Olympic medalist, is supporting the event, motivating young people with his inspiring story.

Enterprising Staff Challenge 14 – 25 November

Yale College have launched a competition to all staff to raise awareness of Global Entrepreneurship Week and to encourage staff to make our organisation as creative, enterprising and innovative a place to work as possible!

Ideas will be emailed into a virtual suggestion box and will be judged by Senior Management on criteria such as originality, creativity and showmanship!

Come along to Yale College's Food For Thought Christmas Market where our enterprising and innovative Creative Industries students will be selling their amazing wares - all based on our sustainability theme. Inspirational and divine gifts for Christmas!

Back by popular demand - but not possible during GEW due to rooming issues!

Students are invited to join up with friends, classmates, Welsh Bacc group or PT group and manage a market stall eg selling crafts, plants, recycled goods, Christmas cards and gifts.

Slots are available to musicians and performers throughout this event to showcase their talent!

Yale College students take charge and are planning a series of fundraising activities and events throughout the day - at Grove Park and Bersham Road: all student-led.
