The 'NatWest Ambitions Bus started its UK tour in the North West on Friday 16th September at the Celebrate Cheshire Event at Chester Racecourse continuing its journey onto 16 other locations in the next two months including both Liverpool and Manchester. Philips High School, Whitefield, M45 7PH A globally themed one day event were Y10 pupils in teams will set up a business to bid for a catering contract for a dinner for a group of international guests. Each group is given a different country for their function. They have to decide on the menu and do all the costings including the venue and staffing and also create a sample table layout. They them bid for the contract by doing a presentation to a judges from NatWest Bank and a senior manager from the hotel and restaurant division of Whitbread plc.
