We are launching our enterprise and entrepreneur initiative across all our curriculum areas. The GEW week is acting as a launch pad to secure enterprise is fostered across the whole college.
We are asking for students to come up with ideas for a business which can be set up on line or through an app.
The students will have the opportunity to fill in an idea postcard, upload it through our website or visit our roadshow 'pod' and create a 30 second video.
The ideas will be evaluated and then final (20 students) will be expected to present their idea via a storyboard micro plan.

Sandwell EBP have been working with Tesco and Vinci who are responsible for the huge New Square and Tesco development in West Bromwich, to bring to you an incredible business enterprise challenge.
The challenge will take place at The Public, directly opposite the new development. The Public, New Street, West Bromwich, B70 7JP from 9.30 am on Friday 16th November 2012 until 3.00 pm.
The competition between 10 local schools will pitt students against one another to see who can come up with the best town centre design.

The Real Business Challenge is a national challenge organised by Coca-Cola Enterprise. Students must create a new healthy drink brand. They must conduct market research and develop their brand through marketing it appropriately. The students must create a professional presentation to which they will present to the class. The best entry will be submitted to the competition.

A group of Young Enterprise students have organised an enterprise challenge for year 7 students. The young enterprise students will help facilitate at the event. Year 7 students will have to create 'enterprise' characters based around the enterprise capabilities. This is a half day event.

Students have to follow a brief of 'journeys' and create a product that could be sold in the Design Museum shop around this given brief. The students are required to research their target market as well as the point of sale. They must also consider the pricing of materials and ensure as far as possible that they are ethical. The winning team will be put forward for the National Competition.
