Ideas Generation

Ideas spring into our minds when we least expect it either in the classroom, on the way to school or at an after school club. So capture them!

Introduce an  Ideas Box or an Ideas Wall so anyone can stick up a great idea when it comes to them. You can even offer prizes or incentives for the best ideas

Business idea from a Banana!

Come up with as many business ideas as possible using a …. Banana

This activity really gets the creative juices flowing. Give students an item and get them to come up with as many business ideas from that object as possible. You could give different groups of students different objects to work with.

With a Banana, you could use the skin to make earings, use the fruit to make smoothies and sell them. The person who comes up with the most creative ideas is the winner!

Other items your could use for the challenge are an iceberg, post-its etc …

Make your mark with a Ball

Come up with a business idea using a ball. Harness young people’s passion for sport by encouraging them to come up with enterprising and creative ideas to make money using just a ball. What ball they use is entirely up to them, and the more creative and whacky the ideas the better!
