Use your local football club

There are around 8000 senior football clubs in the UK, of which about 250 are professional. So every school is within a short distance of their local club!
Therefore, try to involve them in your enterprise teaching. You could approach the club and ask if a class of students could produce a match day program for young supporters for example. This would entail:
- interviewing and writing about some of the local stars
- perhaps securing some sponsorship for the program from local businesses
- designing a competition
- producing and liaising with printers on the production of the program and then selling it before one of the scheduled games.
This would tie in aspects of business, journalism, design technology, art and graphics, etc around a medium that many students would find really stimulating.
The same scenario could obviously also work for other sports, such as rugby, cricket, netball, hockey, etc…
