Levi Roots inspires Brunel Entrepreneurs 2008

Brunel Entrepreneurs hosted three fantastic events during Enterprise Week 2008, joined by lots of exciting business personalities!

On the Monday, they were joined by Sophie Kain from The Apprentice, who ran workshops with students on how to pitch ideas and sell yourself. Students had to come up with innovative, new electronic ways of ordering restaurant food. They then had to stand up in front of the panel, made up of successful entrepreneurs, and present their ideas in a three minute pitch! The event was a great success and students went away motivated and inspired.

On the Friday, Brunel Entrepreneurs were then joined by the ‘Dragon Slayer’ himself, Levi Roots - a highly successful participant from Dragons’ Den! Levi shared his inspirational story with the students at the ‘Let’s Talk Business’ event, run in partnership with Elevation Networks. Students got the chance to share ideas and get expert advice from successful entrepreneurs and specialists in law and web development.

All of the events run by Brunel Entrepreneurs during Enterprise Week received fantastic feedback and were full to the brim with aspiring entrepreneurs. Enterprise Week has really helped to raise the profile of Brunel Entrepreneurs within the university and helped them reach new audiences.
