Tesco: Buddy scheme 2007

Tesco launch a buddy scheme
Tesco decided that during Enterprise week they would launch a buddy scheme. The scheme enabled any shop floor staff member to request to spend 1 day with a member of the Head office team. This idea was to encourage shop floor teams to see the possible progression and opportunity within Tesco and also to highlight to head office teams what their employees wanted. This scheme is now part of Tesco’s learning and development program.
