The most creative, engaging and interesting photos will be promoted in our campaign newsletter that goes out to over 6,000 people, and will also be featured in our special digital magazine going out after the week.

Step by step guide to sending us your photos

1. Take a picture on your phone - obvious, we know!
   
2. Find that picture on your phone - try looking in ‘Camera album’, ‘Gallery’ or ‘My pictures’
   
3. Select ‘Options’ and pick ‘Send’
4. Then choose the ‘Via Message’ ‘Via Multimedia’ or ‘Via Picture message’ option
5. Then add the location, organisation and any description into the message
6. Then type the word ‘Share’ and add the location, organisation and any description into the message. If you have the option, add ‘Share’ as the subject (on some phones you may need do this before you send, by selecting ‘Options’ then ‘Edit subject’)
7. Send the message to 63342 – don’t worry we’ll send you a confirmation when we receive it
8. That’s it! Check this website later on to see your entry posted online

Stuff to know

• Sending a photo will cost you between 20p and 36p, depending on your network.*
• It may take a few hours for your photos to appear on the site.
  
• Please note, due to a global problem with the Orange Network, messages sent from an Orange phone may not get through but you will NOT be charged for trying.

What next?

Make a mash at www.masher.com! Masher is an online video-editing and messaging tool. You can create your mashes by uploading and combining your videos and images with their footage, music and special effects. Then share your mashes with your friends via email or publish them onto your favourite social networking sites.

Remember to make your videos open to the public, that way we can see them all and feature them on our website. Email the link of your mash to lauren@makeyourmark.org.uk and the best one will win a disgo!

*The cost of sending a photo to us will depend on your network; 3 customers pay 25p, Orange 30p, O2 25p, T-Mobile 20p and Vodafone 36p. For other networks, please consult your operator.
