Business support organisations
Practical advice to start or grow a business is essential for aspiring and established entrepreneurs.
Create some buzz
During Global Entrepreneurship Week, create some buzz around your drop-in sessions and one-to-one advice clinics. With increased media attention during the Week, it’s a great opportunity to increase traffic through your doors.
You may already be running your weekly sessions, so do something extra special for Global Entrepreneurship Week and run some PR activity around it. The media are looking out for events and activities happening during the Week, so make sure you use the Global Entrepreneurship Week logo. We’ll also be posting up press release templates in July that you can use.
Make things bigger!
Link up with local businesses and other business support organisations, and run a massive business advice show for the local community.
Launch something new
If you’re thinking of launching a new policy paper or advice clinic, do it during Global Entrepreneurship Week (16 - 22 November) and issue a press release.
Add a focus
Capitalise on the focus days of the Week - Women’s Enterprise Day and Social Enterprise Day. The media will be looking for specific stories on these areas, so make sure you mention the focus day in your press release!
Take it global
With over seventy countries involved in Global Entrepreneurship Week, add an international slant to your activities and you could even involve an international speaker or live video link-up.
Do a roadshow
Go out to your customers and visit them where they live. Take the advice direct to their doorstep!
